Description
This case study documents how well-implemented sponsorship in Armenia, focused on Most Vulnerable Children, led to the establishment of a community social worker role which went on to be endorsed by the national government. Through extensive capacity building and advocacy work, state funding for community social workers became part of the Armenian National Strategy and Action Plan for Child Rights Protection for 2013-2016.
